One of the biggest freedoms in life if being able to drive, simply getting up and going anywhere you want is liberating and wonderful. After 10 years of living in big cities, relocating to the countryside meant I could no longer put off learning to drive! Luckily I found Colin and the Halford Driving School who made learning to drive easy! From the very first lesson to the last nerve racking pre-test lesson Colin helped me in every aspect of my driving, from teaching little tips and tricks to building up my confidence behind the wheel. One of my biggest fears was having the confidence to drive safely and understand how to have full control of the car, in a matter of only a few lessons Colin managed to park any fears I had, and to this day I can still hear his wise and wisdom filled comments whilst driving.

Looking back I now wonder why I ever put off learning to drive for 10 years, fortunately, learning with Colin couldn’t have been easier and more enjoyable. Each lesson was tailored to a particular objective, be it perfecting bay parking or the dreaded reverse around a corner, because of this structure I felt I was making progress all the time. Colin took the time to break down the various driving techniques and iron out any bad habits I had picked up, because of this systematic approach in a matter of only a few weeks I was able to drive off into new lease of life behind the wheel (minus the L plates!).
